October 5 2008 Skyy Drink of the Week

Crisp, sweet watermelon. Ripe, juicy peaches. Tart, luscious berries. What do these delicious fruits have in common? Two things that matter most right now: they're all in season and they all make tantalizing contributions to some really scrumptious SKYY Vodka cocktails.

We celebrate the glory of summer fruit this week with cocktails that feature them, including our drink of the week, the SKYY Watermelon Martini, the perfect cocktail to refresh and impress your guests at a backyard barbecue.

SKYY Watermelon Martini

2 oz. SKYY Vodka
Fresh watermelon cubes (1 inch by 1 inch)
1 oz. Midori Melon Liqueur
1/2 oz. orange liqueur or triple sec
Splash of sweet and sour mix

SKYY Fuzzy Martini

2 oz. SKYY Vodka
1 oz. peach schnapps
Splash of orange juice

Shake in a shaker with ice until frothy. Serve in a chilled martini glass.

LAMPONE FIZZANTE

2 oz SKYY Infusions Raspberry Vodka
3 muddled fresh Raspberries
1 oz Limoncello
2 oz Prosecco

Muddle fresh Raspberries in pint glass. Add ice, SKYY Infusions Raspberry, and Limoncello. Shake and strain into champagne flute and top with Prosecco. Garnish with two Raspberries on a pick and a large Lemon Zest.

SKYY Blackberry Martini

2 oz. SKYY Berry
3/4 oz. Chambord

Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled shaker and shake. Strain into a martini glass and garnish with a berry.
